It might be helpful to determine what stage you’re in … Join me in examining these three stages so that you can assess and move forward.

There are three stages to transition; and I think that as entrepreneurs we are in one of these stages or perhaps moving between them as pandemic is unfolding.

The first stage of transition is letting go. And I am here to encourage you to let go of how your business looked in the past, and be open to the business expressing itself in a new way – you expressing yourself in a new way, creating something newly.

So that’s the first stage of transition, the second is the neutral zone. You might feel that you’re starting to be a little neutral about where your business is. You’re not necessarily holding on fiercely to what it used to be, and you maybe don’t know what it’s going to be, so perhaps you’re in the neutral zone.

And the third stage is the new beginning. The third stage of transition is the new beginning where you really can see where you’re going and what you want to create and what’s happening next.

I think all three of these stages are disconcerting, upsetting, uncomfortable… whether it’s the letting go phase, the neutral phase, or the new beginning phase. So wherever you are is perfect, please just embrace where you are, know that a new stage is coming, and that accepting this current reality that we’re all in in transition, is one of the most powerful things that you can do for yourself and your business.

Personally, I am definitely in the neutral zone, a little bit still of letting go, and I’m in that neutral zone creating what’s happening next; what the new beginning for my company really is going to be. I can’t wait to hear what you create, and I’ll definitely be sharing with you what I create in my new beginning.
