You’ve worked hard to build an incredible business and you deserve to make a profit. If you’re considering selling your business, now is the time to position it in the right way to sell it for the highest price. During these exit strategy sessions, we will work together to get your business “sell ready” and package your business assets to attract high value buyers.

This consulting service
includes:

  • Reviewing key areas of the business. We do this to prepare the company for sale and discuss the specific areas that a buyer is going to inquire about. Each session will focus on polishing and perfecting these business areas with the buyer in mind.
  • Preparing due diligence materials. In a shared folder, I will provide a list of topics for you to start gathering—and will help you along the way
  • Developing exit strategy. We will craft a detailed, step-by-step strategy to get your company sold for the maximum value.
  • Approaching potential buyers. We will research local competitors to price your business and conduct initial calls to vet buyers who may be interested in your business. From there, we will reach out to gauge interest and issue NDAs for those interested buyers. If needed, we will coordinate a comprehensive marketing campaign to attract other high-end buyers to your business.
  • Assembling a team. We help you source a winning sales team to assist with the sale of the company, to include an accountant, attorney, my M&A mentor, etc.
  • Letters of intent (LOI). It is our goal to get the right potential buyer(s) to submit an LOI with the intention of moving quickly to a signed purchase agreement.
  • Warm handing off to the Transaction Team. With everything in place to complete the sale, we will coordinate the hand off to the transaction team to finalize the purchase agreement, obtain signatures, and otherwise manage the transaction to get the deal closed.
